Hybrid cars have become a staple recently in Pakistan. One misconception that was cleared for me recently is that, even though hybrid cars basically have no ignition time and instantly are ready to drive we should wait and let the car transfer to engine power in order to heat up. Even though your battery is charged your car will transfer to engine power in winters, the purpose for that is to heat the system for a smoother drive. So my suggestion for you is wait for the car to reach normal temperature before driving off even if you have a hybrid vehicle, other wise you can risk major failures in the complicated system that hybrid cars are.
